Terrain Consulting helps conservation authorities, protected areas and government bodies turn stakeholder conflict into working partnerships - grounded in real environmental science.
Terrain Consulting was built on a simple conviction: conservation works best when science and people are handled with equal care. We pair environmental rigour with ground-level engagement — EIA and ESG certified, grounded in Community-based Natural Resource Management — protecting the places we live and work for the people who depend on them.

I’m Kayla Parker, founder of Terrain Consulting. I combine environmental science with years of field and stakeholder engagement experience across Southern Africa. With a BSc Honours in Environmental Science and certifications in EIA, ESG and CBNRM, I work at the intersection of conservation science, practical decision-making and the people and communities connected to landscapes..
Terrain was built to bridge that gap — helping conservation authorities, protected areas and organisations make decisions that are scientifically credible, practically workable and grounded in real relationships.
