What we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us. If you complete the contact form on this website, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your organisation
  • Your email address
  • Any information you include in your message

We do not collect special personal information as defined in POPIA, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Why we collect it

We use this information for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to discuss and deliver consulting work. We do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

Consent

By submitting the contact form you consent to us processing your information for the purpose above. You may withdraw that consent at any time by emailing [EMAIL].

Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

Your information is stored on infrastructure operated by our website and email service providers, who process it on our behalf and are bound to keep it secure. Some of these providers may store data outside South Africa. We share information with third parties only where required by law.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to two years, then deleted. Records relating to client work are kept for the period required by South African tax and business record-keeping law, currently five years, and then deleted.

How we protect it

This website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Enquiries are received in a password-protected email account. Access is limited to Kayla Parker. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and will notify you and the Information Regulator if a breach occurs that is likely to affect you.

Your rights

Under POPIA you have the right to:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct or delete information that is inaccurate, irrelevant, excessive, or no longer needed
  • Object to us processing your information
  • Withdraw your consent at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator

To exercise any of these rights, email [EMAIL]. We will respond within a reasonable period.
